Outside of School
Sports
When I was a freshman, I played softball for the high school. Before High school, I had played 6 years of softball. Then for my senior year, I decided to try out for tennis and made it on to the JV team. The experiences I've had and the friends I made have helped teach me important lessons about teamwork and sportsmanship.

Music
Although Choir is technically a school class, we do a lot out of school as well. We have our concerts and we travel to places like Pittsburgh, New York, Nashville. We also travel to choral competitions every winter. The choir also hosts a Christmas cabaret and we visit the elderly home and perform for the elderly every spring and winter.
There is also A Cappella. This is purely student-run and outside of school. I Have been in A Cappella ever since I first arrived at east as a freshman and continued with it all four years and eventually becoming the A Cappella president. A Cappella and Choir both taught me how to be a good leader.
As a senior, I spontaneously decided to join Theatre. Through almost three months of long nights and sore feet, We had an amazing show performing newsies and I managed to make many friends along the way. Theatre also taught me a lesson in perseverance and hard work

Free Time
I love to travel and have been to Germany, Austria, Key West Florida and look forward to traveling more in the future. I also have a rescue dog named Carter. He is an Australian Shepherd/Rat Terrier mix. He loves to kayak and paddle board with me in the summer. Other than that, I love to spend time with friends and to go on adventures together.
